Spotlight on A Warrior’s Oasis Volunteers

Meet A1C Jake Mattison, USAF

A Warrior’s Oasis has been blessed by nearly 40 hours of service from A1C Mattison.
Jake, (age 20) is from Wasilla, Alaska and his AFSC with the USAF is Hydraulic Systems aboard the C130’s, HH60’s and CV22’s to name a few--- and he calls Kirtland AF Base, Albuquerque, NM his home away from home. We were very impressed by his “jump in and get it done”, hard-working energy at the Ranch. Jake connected with AWO through his volunteer efforts with Team Rubicon, yet another amazing organization, that caught this young Airman’s heart for service! When at home in Wasilla, Jake enjoys trout fishing, 4-wheeling, hiking and hanging out with his friends. He has two younger brothers and a younger sister along with four dogs that can’t wait to see him this Christmas. Yes, he is a doting older brother too! We look forward to weekends with Jake in the coming year and so very proud to know him. Merry Christmas Mattison Family, we can’t wait for A1C to fly home and see you!
